Our new documentary about The Big Dig site was first broadcast on SBS One on Monday 27 March 2020, with a repeat broadcast on Australia Day 2021. It is currently available on SBS On Demand.
There are three versions of the documentary available. The main documentary runs for 30 minutes and is titled Archaeology at The Big Dig, Below Sydney Harbour YHA.
To accompany The Big Dig education programs a shorter 16 minute version, including additional curriculum linked material, was developed. It is titled The Big Dig, Investigating Colonial Lives in The Rocks.
For guests at Sydney Harbour YHA and visitors on site we have a quick 5 minute version, to introduce the site. This version is titled Digging Into The Rocks, Sydney Harbour YHA and The Big Dig Archaeological site.
